Anaheim Achieves, a community based-organization, is hiring college students who want to become teachers.

  • Job Title: Group Leader working at a Winter Day Camp with elementary, junior high, or high school students. Many positions available.
  • When: Dates are as follows:
    • March 21st to 24th (Monday – Friday) from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
      **(can work a minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 25 hours)
    • March 28th to April 1st (Monday – Friday) from 7:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
      **(can work a minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 25 hours)
  • Where: School sites throughout Anaheim
  • Hourly Wage: $9.50 – $11.50 per hour depending on experience and bi-lingual ability. You can work a maximum of 25 hours per week. The minimum number required is 4 hours per week.

Qualifications: You must have a H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.; experience working with children (paid or volunteer) preferred, but not required; 1-2 years of college preferred, but not required; and bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities: Group Leaders provide a safe, nurturing environment for all students. Observe and manage behavior of students according to approved policies/procedures under the direction of the Site Program Supervisor. Provide homework assistance/tutor individuals or large groups of students; provide and supervise age appropriate academic, literacy, enrichment, sports, and health activities for students depending on age level.

Spring Day Camp Days:

  • March 21st to 24th (Monday – Friday) from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
